The
Pomeranian descended form the Spitz family of dogs, the
sled dogs of Iceland and Lapland. The Deutscher Spitz is
possibly the breeds ancestor. It is the smallest member
of the Spitz breeds. Today's dog is the product of
nineteenth century British selection, but the breed is
recognized as German. Bouncy, bold, and busy, the
Pomeranian makes the most of every day. It is curious,
playful, and attentive, ever ready for a game or
adventure. |
