The
Wire-haired Fox Terrier was developed in the early 1800s
for fox-hunting. Some speculation exist that the
Wire-haired Terrier descended from the rough-coated
Black and Tan Terrier of Wales. Although originally a
hunting-dog, the Fox Terrier is now chiefly a companion
animal that can adapt to city or country life. A true
"live-wire," the Wire Fox Terrier is always up for
adventure. With its human family near, it is a happy
loyal watchdog. |
