Since the
beginning of the eighteenth century the English Springer
Spaniel has been an English hunting breed. The English
Springer is considered the most robust of all the
spaniels, and is thought to have the pleasantest
disposition, too. This breeds name seems to have been
derived from the dog's speedy dash for its quarry. The
English Springer Spaniel is cheerful and energetic, and
is also the ideal family companion. |
