The Cavalier
King Charles Spaniel has documented its place among dogs
of the small-spaniel type that have existed for
centuries. The Breed achieved its greatest popularity
during the reign of Charles II (1660-85). The king kept
a large number as pets and brought them everywhere with
him. The Cavalier in many ways fits the bill as an ideal
house pet. Despite its huge popularity in England it is
still rarely seen in America. |
