Originally a product of Belgium, the Brussels Griffon
was used to catch rats in stables where hansom cabs were
kept. Perched beside coachmen, from an elevated
position they took up the role of watch-dogs and
attracted attention as they rode by barking at people in
the streets. The spunky Brussels Griffon brims with self
confidence and gusto. While playful and stubborn
it is both a companion and watchdog. |
