The Airedale Terrier is the largest of the terrier group, and is known as the "king of terriers". It has been used as a police and military dog, but has been traditionally used as a hunting breed. They are used on great game in Africa, India, Canada, and our game lands. In several wars they have been used as dependable dispatch bearers due to their ability to sustain wounds without being hesitant at the next call for duty.
